About
We install whole-home water, and look after it.
A family-owned Connecticut team treating water as part of a well-equipped home, so cleaner water runs from every faucet and you never have to think about it again.
The system

Six months apart.
That's what your filter pulled out of your water. That's what your family didn't drink, didn't shower in, didn't cook with.
We install one professional-grade whole-home filter system at the point your water enters the house. Every drop your family touches (kitchen tap, shower, ice maker, washing machine) runs through it first. We swap the cartridges on a cadence that matches your water, not a generic schedule.
What you're actually buying.
Professional installation
Our team installs the system in two to three hours. Clean, considered work, and we tidy up before we leave.
Designed for your home
Sized to your home, your water, and how you use it. One system covers every faucet, shower, and appliance in the house, not just one sink.
Looked after, your way
You choose how we keep it running: scheduled visits from our team, filter cartridges shipped to your door, or service whenever you need it.

Why we exist
Utilities do their job at the plant. We focus on your tap.
Your water utility treats the water at the plant and does that job well. From there it travels miles through aging service lines, decades-old water mains, and your home's own plumbing before it reaches your faucet.
The Consumer Confidence Report your utility publishes describes water leaving the plant. Your tap is the last mile, and that is the part we take care of.
So we install a whole-home system at the point the water enters your house, and we look after it for as long as you're with us. Cleaner water from every faucet, without you having to manage any of it.

The team
Built by people who got obsessed with their own water.
Sound Water Co. was started by a small, family-owned Connecticut team that got obsessed with what's actually in our drinking water, and what we could do about it. We read the water reports, kept asking questions, and decided the water flowing through a home deserves the same attention as the air, the climate, and the security systems.
So we built a service around it. We treat whole-home water as standard equipment in a well-run home: chosen for your house, installed properly, and looked after over time.
The install itself is handled by our licensed installation partners. Choosing the right system, the relationship, and the ongoing care are ours, and they stay ours for as long as you're a customer.
